"Better to light a candle then curse the darkness" ~ Chinese proverb
Acupuncture originates from ancient China and has been practiced throughout the world for over 2500 years. It is a safe treatment that involves the insertion of very fine sterile needles into specific points throughout the body. In Chinese medicine we say that these needles help to 'activate' or 'move Qi' throughout the body. In western medicine we believe theses points help to stimulate blood circulation, lymphatic circulation, and release triggers points.
At PNC acupuncture treatments are administered by our board certified naturopaths and our licensed acupuncturist. Acupuncture treatments are covered by most extended health plans.

At PNC we are proud to be the first clinic on the peninsula to offer a community acupuncture clinic. The purpose of a community acupuncture clinic is to make acupuncture available to more people and remove potential financial barriers. Fees are charged on a sliding scale, and you decide what you are able to pay (no information on personal income is required). Community Acupuncture treatments involve a private consultation with one of our licensed practitioners and then acupuncture is given in a community setting. Treatments range from 20 min to 45 min. For more information please call our clinic.
